Last Week's Pins- Food

by Jenni in

Although making food is fun, I am not necessarily the chef in our home. The hubs is the one who enjoys finding new recipes, making reductions, and testing crazy things that take hours of kitchen time to make. Me, I like baking and a long time in the kitchen cooking is anything over 30-minutes.

But, there is something about the summer in Michigan that makes me want to spend all day in my kitchen back home making super healthy snacks. This usually leads me to binge cook when we get back home or make super healthy noms for the family while vacationing on the lake (after camp, of course).

Well, my need to cook/bake/be in a kitchen and make some super healthy meals took over this past week and almost every pin was something to do with food. Here are a few that I am absolutely counting down to August till I can make!

Healthier Sweet Tooth Recipes for Cravings

by Jenni in

We all get them, this past week I would of done almost anything for a cookie. I still have not eaten said cookie but have, through trying to avoid it, eaten far worse things. Sometimes, cravings just happen and ignoring them can just make it worse. These recipes are for those times when we just want a freakin' brownie but know it will set us off our health and fitness track. These guys can be eaten without the added carbs, fats, and most importantly, guilt added on.

I would also oh-so highly recommend checking out Chocolate-Covered Katie for all your sweet tooth recipe modifying needs. This entire post could have been about her recipes, but it is not. For realzies though, any sweet tooth recipe rendition you want can be found there :)
